One Good Bumblebee

Holidays ‘08 are all about cheap gifts: One Good Bumblebee has cute stuff, but mostly loved their “Paper & Books” section, where I found these Vintage Postage Stamps, and the must-have Mini Piles of Paper. This eye candy ephemera makes me wanna write some letters or do some scrapbooking. Glue stick anyone?

PS: Also peep their Scalloped Garland

Lizette Greco

I’ve dabbled in stuffed-animal-making, and it’s usually one of those things that you get into for a couple of months, and end up with a headless multi-colored snuggle buddy in your closet, waiting for his dome piece to be pieced together and sewn on…but I digress.

Some people making amazing stuffed-things, and upon my weekly mining of etsy, ran across the fine works of Lizette Greco. According to them, their works are “the product of a full family collaboration, a couple creating with their young daughter and son. Our plush art is based on the children’s drawings and are made using only thrifted and recycled materials. Our aim is to create artwork that celebrates a child’s perspective of the world and will hopefully be passed from generation to generation.” Kudos to them.

Plus, I’m partial to whales. My grandpa loved them.
